Using a sample of Slovenian elite and Olympic athletes, the research underscores the importance of dual career (DC) support mechanisms, such as scholarships and job placement programs, to enhance athletes' long-term career prospects. The findings emphasize the need for tailored support systems to facilitate smoother transitions and ensure athletes achieve sustainable post-sport careers.
